We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature in Trust Subscriptions: "Charge on Specific Days." This feature gives merchants greater flexibility and control over subscription renewals by allowing them to set a fixed subscription renewal date, no matter when the customer makes the purchase. Whether you want subscriptions to renew weekly, monthly, or annually, this feature ensures your billing aligns perfectly with your schedule.

Where to Find the Feature

The "Charge on Specific Days" option is seamlessly integrated into the subscription creation workflow. Here’s where you can find it:

  1. Navigate to the "Create Subscription Plan" button in your dashboard.

  2. Set the Frequency for your subscription plan, whether it’s weekly, monthly, or annually.

  3. Once you’ve selected the frequency, the "Charge on Specific Days" option will appear below the frequency menu.

How to Set It Up

Let’s walk through a step-by-step example:

Step 1: Choose Your Subscription Frequency

Suppose you’re creating a weekly subscription plan, meaning the subscription will restart every 7 days, and customers will be charged accordingly.

Step 2: Enable "Charge on Specific Days"

Once the frequency is set to "Weekly," the "Charge on Specific Days" menu will appear.

Step 3: Set the Subscription Renewal Day

In this dropdown menu, you’ll see options to select any day of the week (Sunday through Saturday). For example, if you choose Monday, all subscriptions will renew on Mondays, regardless of when the customer subscribed.

If you had selected Monthly as the frequency, the dropdown would display dates (1 to 30), allowing you to pick a specific day of the month. Similarly, for an Annual frequency, you can select the exact month and day for renewals.

Step 4: Save and Launch

Once you’ve made your selection, click Save, and your subscription plan is ready to go with the "Charge on Specific Days" feature enabled.

Benefits of the "Charge on Specific Days" Feature

This feature is more than just a scheduling tool—it’s a strategic enhancement that benefits both merchants and customers.

1. Simplified Billing Cycles

Align subscription renewals with your preferred billing schedule. For example, businesses can consolidate all renewals on a specific day, streamlining accounting and financial reporting.

2. Consistency for Customers

Customers appreciate predictable billing. By ensuring all subscriptions renew on a consistent day, you enhance their experience and build trust.

3. Ideal for Seasonal Campaigns and Events

Plan renewals around key dates, such as the first of the month or specific holidays, to align with promotional campaigns or inventory restocking schedules.

4. Better Cash Flow Management

With all subscriptions renewing on the same day or in a predictable pattern, merchants can better forecast revenue and manage inventory.

5. Flexibility Across Frequencies

Whether your subscription model is weekly, monthly, or yearly, the feature adapts to your needs, making it suitable for businesses of all sizes and industries.
