Introducing Subscription Checkout Upsell by TrustSubscription

TrustSubscription recently launched the Subscription Checkout Upsell feature, designed specifically for creating upsells.

What is an Upsell and How Can It Benefit You?

An upsell is a strategy where you offer additional products or services to customers during their purchase. In the context of subscriptions, it allows you to recommend related items or premium features alongside the main product.

How Upsells Benefit Your Business:

  • Boost Revenue: By suggesting complementary products, you can increase the total value of each transaction.

  • Enhance Customer Experience: Offering relevant add-ons ensures your customers get the most out of their purchase, leading to higher satisfaction.

  • Increase Loyalty: Customers who receive personalized offers or enhanced value are more likely to remain loyal to your brand.


How to Enable Subscription Checkout Upsell

Enabling the Subscription Checkout Upsell feature is simple:

  1. Navigate to the "More": In the TrustSubscription app, find the "Subscription Checkout Upsell" option in the sidebar.

  2. Add a New Add-On: Click on the "Add New Add-On" button.

  3. Set Up Your Add-On:

    • Trigger Product: Choose the main product you'd like to upsell from.

    • Add-On Product: Select the product or service you want to recommend to the customer as an additional purchase.

  4. Save the Add-On: Once you're done selecting the products, click "Add" to save your upsell offer.


Important Details

The Subscription Add-On feature works for all products, whether they’re part of a subscription plan or not. Customers will be given two purchasing options:

  • One-Time Purchase: For customers who only want the add-on once.

  • Subscription: For those who want the add-on as part of their recurring subscription.

With this new feature, you can easily increase sales by recommending relevant products to customers while they’re shopping!
